Dave Smith Prophet '08 Analog Synthesizer
At its heart are samples from Dave Smith Instruments' Prophet '08 analog synthesizer. One of my favorite features of this synth is you can stack two different presets together to create truly massive instruments. I spent some time programming 15 patches and sampled them into Ableton Live instrument racks. I then took those instrument racks and layered those together to create even bigger sounds. As you can hear, they sound gigantic! The Live Pack comes with 15 instrument racks and 10 layered instrument racks. You can control various parameters of each instrument, as well as mix the layers together, pan them, and add effects to each layer separately. So with the turn of a few controls, the 25 presets turn into countless new sounds.
